Information we may collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, organisation, telephone number, email address, service interest and the information you include in your enquiry. We may also retain later correspondence and information needed to discuss, quote for, deliver or support an agreed project.
Website enquiry handling
Website enquiries are emailed to the Jatera Microsoft 365 mailbox and are not intentionally stored within WordPress. The current form includes mandatory privacy confirmation and uses Contact Form 7 to collect the submission and Brevo to deliver the website email. No additional contact-form spam-protection plugin is currently active.
How we use personal information
We use enquiry and customer information to review and respond to enquiries, discuss requirements, prepare quotations, take requested steps before entering into a contract, deliver agreed services, provide support within the agreed scope, maintain business records and meet legal or financial obligations.
Lawful bases
Depending on the circumstances, we normally process personal information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining appropriate business records. Where consent is the appropriate legal basis for a particular activity, we will ask for it.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not become active projects are normally deleted within 12 months. Where an enquiry becomes a customer project, relevant correspondence may be retained throughout the customer relationship and afterwards only for as long as reasonably required for contractual, financial, support or record-keeping purposes.
Website and communication services
The website and enquiry process may involve the following services:
- GoDaddy for hosting and relevant domain services

- Contact Form 7 for the website enquiry form
- Brevo for website email delivery
- CookieYes for cookie information and consent controls where required
- Yoast SEO for search metadata and sitemap support
- Microsoft 365 for receiving and retaining enquiry emails
Website administration, DNS management and monitoring are handled internally by Jatera.
Cookies and technical information
No website analytics platform is currently used. No advertising pixels or social-media tracking are currently used. CookieYes remains available to provide cookie information and consent controls where required.
GoDaddy and other relevant infrastructure providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and timestamps in server, security or delivery logs needed to operate and protect their services.
Who information may be shared with
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the service providers identified above where necessary to host the website, deliver an enquiry or provide business communications. It may also be shared with professional advisers, a supplier needed to deliver an agreed project, or a public authority where disclosure is required by law. We only share information for a relevant purpose and seek appropriate safeguards.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we expect the provider to use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to ask for access to, correction of or erasure of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to receive information you provided in a portable format. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights are not absolute and legal exceptions may apply.
Complaints
Please contact us at privacy@jatera.co.uk so we can investigate your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if the website, business arrangements, service providers or use of personal information changes. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
